Ty's Corners quilt

I recently made a birthday quilt for a very special boy who is going through some very tough medical problems. His mom said he loves to hold the corners of things. So, I made a quilt with lots and lots of corners. It also has different fabric textures, including minky which is soooo soft. Hopefully it is well loved.

Tie the Knot, Polka Dot

This is the quilt I made for my brother's wedding gift. I picked out the fabric and started working on it and then found out it matches the colors she picked for the wedding. I saw a quilt with the pattern of someone's blog but never could figure out what it is called. So I just figured out my own version. I didn't want it to be to "girly" with the colors or pattern, so I think it worked out well. The back with all the polka dots is just fun. It was way, way to big for me to quilt on my own (I had it long arm quilted). It is queen sized. I hope they like it.
